Our story begins in the dimly lit, romantic setting of Still Partners in Sea Cliff in April 2018, where great music, good drinks, and a fateful first date brought us together.

Over the next few months, we quickly discovered our shared love for sushi, wine, and most importantly... skiing. We both grew up carving down different mountains. Grant at Stratton in Vermont, and Katherine at Gore Mountain in upstate New York. In February 2020, during Presidents Week, Katherine brought Grant to Gore for the first time. He was convinced the lines would be endless. Instead, the trails were wide open, and so was his heart. He was hooked.

Since then, Gore Mountain has become our second home. You can find us there nearly every winter weekend, skiing, laughing, and making memories on every run.

Fast forward to March 2025. It was unusually warm, and it was supposed to be our last ski weekend of the season. As we made our way down the mountain with friends, Grant stopped at the top of Katherine’s favorite trail. There, with a professional photographer mysteriously positioned, he got down on one knee. (Not before Katherine made him pause so she could take off her helmet for the pictures, of course!)

That moment marked the start of our next great adventure, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you!
